Gather your allies and descend into brand-new raids. Face gargantuan bosses in the sprawling titan facility Uldir, experience the Battle of Dazar'alor as war reaches the shores of Zuldazar, or assault the Crucible of Storms, where fanatical cultists prepare dark rituals in the name of their eldritch masters. In Rise of Azshara, storm the Eternal Palace, seat of power of Queen Azshara herself, and stop abominations from the depths before they take over the surface world.

Set sail for the previously unmapped isles of Azeroth. Battle in groups of three as you race against cunning rival intruders—or enemy players—to collect the island’s resources. Constantly evolving challenges await as you traverse frozen landscapes near Northrend, open the gates of an abandoned Gilnean castle, navigate a war between elementals and more. Rise of Azshara adds two new Island Expeditions to the mix—Crestfall, a gloomy, derelict skerry, and Snowblossom, an idyllic, mountainous island.

Head to the frontlines and take part in a large-scale 20-player cooperative Warfront to claim key strategic locations. You'll build up your faction's forces, lead the charge as your troops lay siege to the objective, and battle the enemy commanders as they make their last stand in this new PvE mode inspired by classic Warcraft RTS battles.

Engage in the Battle for Stromgarde—where Orcs and Humans fight for dominance of the Arathi Highlands—and earn powerful rewards as you conquer Normal mode or the all-new Heroic mode. Then, continue to dominate the battlefield in the Battle for Darkshore, where Forsaken and the Night elves struggle for control of a staging area near Teldrassil.

Take control of the Heart of Azeroth—a legendary neck piece entrusted to you by Magni Bronzebeard. Imbue it with Azerite, an invaluable resource that’s emerged in the Legion’s wake, to customize your armor with new powers and traits. Rise of Azshara also introduces brand-new Essences, marvelous relics that further empower your necklace and grant you powerful abilities based on your class.
