Lore Updates: Characters Page, Warcraft Timeline

We just uploaded two updates containing delicious slices of fresh lore to the World of Warcraft game site for your reading pleasure. The Warcraft timeline now includes synopses for Patch 5.2: The Thunder King and Patch 5.3: Escalation, and we also deployed a brand-new lore web feature: character cards!

Azeroth and the worlds beyond are full of peerless (player) heroes, but they are also home to a great number of important non-player characters who have each left an indelible mark on history.

Get to know these movers and shakers on the new characters page. To start things off we’re focusing on some of the world’s most famous (or infamous, depending on who you ask) characters, but you can expect an even wider range of people (and things) to make an appearance in time.
