Blizzard is heading back to Cologne, Germany next week for gamescom 2017! The event takes place from August 22–26, and we’ll be there to put on our best show yet.

This was the biggest year yet for Blizzard at gamescom and we had plenty of new and exciting things to share!

The world’s largest games convention begins this Wednesday, August 13, in Cologne. Be sure to follow all the action on our dedicated gamescom 2014 site, whether or not you’re able to make it to the Koelnmesse in person.

The world’s biggest game convention is almost upon us! Blizzard will be in Cologne from August 13 to 17, showcasing our latest games, presenting awesome activities on stage, and broadcasting live from our booth.

This year we’ll be featuring the “World of Warcraft Gallery” at the Blizzard booth. The gallery will showcase official World of Warcraft artwork, as well as some awesome community creations representing epic WoW moments — and that’s where you come in!

Could you get up on stage and dance in front of hundreds of people? Sure, the offer of great prizes helps, but you also need to be seriously brave. Kudos, then, to our 20 World of Warcraft dance contest participants who took to the Blizzard booth stage today and showed us their moves.

We spent an amazing five days at gamescom this year, and we’d again like to thank everyone who visited us at the Blizzard booth! We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

Today was the second public day of gamescom 2012, and our second Mists of Pandaria Leveling Contest. This time it was Mark-Hendrik Moll who was the first to make it through the pandaren starting zone to level five, taking home an awesome Sindragosa and the Lich King set from Mega Bloks.

gamescom has opened its doors to the public, and Blizzard Entertainment is right in the middle of all the action! Today was the first fully public day of the event, and excitement is already mounting at the Blizzard booth. The highlight of the day was definitely the world premiere of the World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria opening cinematic.
