Patch 2.1 – The Black Temple released on May 15, 2007. Among many other features (such as finally being able to fish in Underbog!) the patch included the long-awaited Black Temple raid, location of the final showdown between Azeroth’s greatest heroes and Illidan Stormrage.

For those of the Alliance, the loss of King Varian Wrynn at the Broken Shore continues to echo throughout Azeroth. But for his son, Anduin Wrynn, that loss is felt most keenly as he faces not only the loss of a father, but takes on new responsibilities as a king. In World of Warcraft: Legion, players can earn new rewards in PvP through the updated Honor system. At Honor level 50, a new path of advancement opens in which players begin earning Prestige levels.
